Next Generation Films (established in 2015) was established as part of Next Generation Theatre two years after its successful introduction as a Pro-Am Company. It is an enterprise where the profits from each production, film or theatre, are shared between members of the company whether they be actors or crew.
The first film that has been produced to date is an historical drama based on the lives of the wives of Henry VIII where each of the wives gives a personal view. Whilst the work is essential historical fiction much of the action is based upon the real histories of these women. The film is available to view on Vimeo by following the link lower down this page. This link is for personal viewing only but presentations to wider audiences may be arranged on application.
Further film projects are in the embryonic stage: script writing and production design. Currently a documentary is at the early stage of production, also the films entitled The Journey (Graham Sessions) and Who Me? (Rachel Feeny-Willams).
